TV Series Look Book
The dream of owning a new Schwinn Stingray bike leads young Steven to seek employment. However, in the small town of Ojai, California, the only job to obtain is that of a Paperboy... and so the adventure begins!
Green and ambitious, ten-year-old Steven is a dreamer with a big heart. Shy on the surface, this wide-eyed fifth grader has no qualms about sharing his faith or his Hollywood aspirations.
Fun loving, lamb chop sportin', former athlete, John McBride, is a no-nonsense "Son of Ojai."
The Recreation Director for his small town, John is a faith-filled guiding light for his community and his son, Steven.
A customer on Steven's route, firefighter and perpetual bachelor Mr. Johnson, takes Steven under his big-brother-like wing. However, an unspoken loneliness lies beneath the surface of this rompin' studs carefree demeanor.
Ethnocentric, Eastern European transplant, Mr. Radke, waves his superiority complex like his German flag. Hot-tempered and unkind, it seems his short fuse is always burning.
About The Writer
Steven C. Martin has always been a creative person. Not only does he write scripts (an award-nominated screenplay and a multi-award-winning teleplay), but has recently released his first book ("Mrs. Gail and the Good News Club"): a children's evangelical picture book; where he is also the illustrator.
Working in the Motion Picture and Television Industry, Steven is often asked, "Whatever happened to the good ol' films and TV shows the whole family can enjoy?"
It got him thinking that THAT would be his niche: to write wholesome, faith and family-friendly scripts that would encourage families to be entertained together... again!
